Welcome to StaarCon 6: Your Guide to Attending and Participating

StaarCon 6 is almost here! Join us October 2, 3, and 4, 2026, at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel and Executive Meeting Center, 4431 PGA Boulevard, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, and online on StaarCast.

Every one of us comes to StaarCon in our own way. Some of you will be in the room with us. Some of you will join from home. Some of you will teach, some will sell, and some will share your time and talents to help us make the magic happen. This page will walk you through the first steps for your role, so you can arrive ready to learn, to share, to laugh, and to create.

Find your role below:

Which Ticket Do I Have?

StaarCon 6 tickets come in two families. Tickets that include StaarCast give you in-person admission plus virtual access on StaarCast.com. In-person-only tickets give you admission at the DoubleTree without StaarCast access.

Attendees In Person With a Ticket That Includes StaarCast

This is the full StaarCon experience. You will be with us in Palm Beach Gardens for the days on your ticket, and you will also be able to enjoy StaarCon 6 on StaarCast.

Step 1: Get your ticket

Purchase your ticket at staarcon.com/tickets. If you are buying for friends, you can add a ticket for each person. Please enter each attendee’s own name and email address, because that email address is where their ticket and their StaarCast account will go.

Step 2: Watch your email

Within a few minutes, you will receive two emails from StaarCon:

  • Your StaarCon Ticket, with your ticket attached as a PDF. Your ticket has a QR code and a link to your personal ticket page. Each attendee receives their own.
  • Your StaarCon Purchase Confirmation, which is your receipt. This goes to the person who made the purchase.

Please keep your ticket email. The link in it is your key to everything that follows. Treat it like a house key, and don’t share it.

Step 3: Visit your ticket page

Open the link in your ticket email. You do not need a password. On your ticket page, you can:

  • View your receipt and download your ticket.
  • Prepare your badge.
  • Sign your Photo and Video Release.
  • Get your StaarCast onboarding link.

Step 4: Prepare your badge

In the Your Badge section, choose Take Photo or Choose Photo to add a picture of yourself. Enter the name you want on your badge and, if you like, a handle, such as the one you use on social media. Then choose Save Badge Details.

You can come back and change your badge any time before the event. If you would rather not do this ahead of time, that is fine. We can take your photo at the registration desk.

Step 5: Sign your Photo and Video Release

We take pictures and record sessions at StaarCon, and we want to honor your wishes. In the Photo and Video Release section, choose Email Me the Photo Release to Sign. The release will arrive from eSignatures.com, and you can sign it on your phone or computer.

You may give permission or decline. Either choice is perfectly fine. If you decline, you will receive an orange wristband at registration so our photographers know not to include you. Attendees under 18 need a parent or guardian to sign.

Step 6: Set up your StaarCast account

We created your StaarCast account using the email address on your ticket. All you need to do is set your password. There are two ways to do this:

  • On your ticket page, in the StaarCast Access section, choose Send My StaarCast Onboarding Link.
  • Or go to StaarCast.com, choose Log In, and then choose to set up your password under “First time here?”

Either way, you will receive an email titled Set Up Your Password from StaarCast Community. Follow the link, choose your password, and you are in! After that, you can sign in with either your email address or your username. If the link has expired, simply request a new one.

If you just purchased your ticket and see a message that your account isn’t ready yet, please wait a few minutes and try again. Sometimes it takes a few minutes to complete set up.

Step 7: Explore StaarCast

Once you are signed in, you will find StaarCon 6 in your account under Subscriptions. For each day on your ticket, you will have access to that day’s events, recordings, and virtual workshops. You can visit the StaarCon 6 Virtual Main Stage, Virtual Track, Mindful Room, Virtual Classroom, Meeting Hall, and Lounge.

Everything that happens in our live Main Stage room at the DoubleTree is streamed to StaarCast and recorded. Presenters in the Mindful Room provide videos about their subjects for StaarCast, and videos about the Classroom presentations will be available there as well. You will have access to the recorded sessions for each day you attend, as long as you remain a StaarCast member.

StaarCast is also where the fun continues after the conference ends. Check the StaarCon 6 Virtual Calendar often, because new events are added throughout the year. Practice sessions will be scheduled before the conference.

Step 8: Arrive and check in

Bring your ticket, printed or on your phone, to the registration desk. We will scan your QR code, check you in, and hand you your badge. Then go have fun!

A few things to remember:

  • Sessions begin on the hour listed in the program, and you may enter the room 15 minutes before a session starts.
  • Please do not record sessions yourself. We record the Live Room so everyone can enjoy it on StaarCast.
  • StaarCon does not have a meal plan. Palm Beach Gardens has wonderful restaurants for every taste and budget, many within walking distance of the hotel, and the DoubleTree has its own bar and restaurant.
  • Bring your unloved books, decks, and magical tools for the swap table, and maybe find a treasure to take home!

Attendees With an In-Person-Only Ticket

An in-person-only ticket is an economical way to enjoy StaarCon 6 with your community in Palm Beach Gardens. Your first steps are almost the same as those above:

  1. Get your ticket at staarcon.com/tickets.
  2. Watch your email for Your StaarCon Ticket and Your StaarCon Purchase Confirmation.
  3. Visit your ticket page using the link in your ticket email.
  4. Prepare your badge in the Your Badge section.
  5. Sign your Photo and Video Release by choosing Email Me the Photo Release to Sign.
  6. Arrive and check in at the registration desk with your ticket, printed or on your phone.

Your ticket does not include StaarCast. You will not receive a StaarCast account with your ticket, and you will not see a StaarCast Access section on your ticket page. You can always add a StaarCast subscription later.

If you would like to watch the livestreams or the recordings from home, you can still join us on StaarCast. Create a free membership at StaarCast.com. Free members can purchase individual sessions on a pay-per-view basis. Annual members ($99.95) have access to all the StaarCon 6 livestreamed events. Daily and monthly members can watch the entertainment and opening and closing events. The monthly pass is $9.95, and a daily pass is $1.95. Daily and monthly pass members can also purchase individual premium sessions for a fee.

Presenters

You are the heart of StaarCon. Attendees come to learn from you, and I am so grateful you are sharing your wisdom with us. Here is how to get ready.

Step 1: Your presenter ticket

Once we confirm your session, we will issue your StaarCon 6 ticket. It includes StaarCast. You will receive the same Your StaarCon Ticket email that attendees receive, with your ticket, QR code, and a link to your ticket page. Your badge will be marked SPEAKER.

Step 2: Prepare your badge and sign your release

From your ticket page, add your badge photo and badge name, and choose Email Me the Photo Release to Sign. When you sign, your release will show that you are attending as a presenter.

Step 3: Set up your StaarCast presenter account

Your StaarCast account already exists and includes presenter privileges. Set your password using Send My StaarCast Onboarding Link on your ticket page, or choose Log In and then set up your password on StaarCast.com.

As a presenter, you can:

  • Visit the Onboarding Room, which is for presenters only, along with all the StaarCon 6 rooms.
  • Schedule and host your own meetings on StaarCast.
  • Upload and manage your own videos.
  • Use the Meeting Controls on sessions you start, including Record and Guest Access. You can use a guest invitation link five times within 24 hours.

Step 4: Prepare your session

  • If you are presenting in the Live Room, your session will stream to StaarCast and be recorded. A confidence monitor will help you see and respond to the virtual audience in real time.
  • If you are presenting in the Mindful Room, please provide a video or interview about your subject in advance, so our virtual attendees can share in your work.
  • Classroom presentations are not recorded. Videos about these presentations will be available on StaarCast.
  • Regular sessions run 45 minutes. Headliner presentations run 90 minutes.

Step 5: Share your referral link

Help us spread the word, and be rewarded for it. When someone buys a StaarCon ticket through your link, you earn a percentage of the pre-tax ticket price. When someone joins StaarCast on a monthly or annual plan through your StaarCast link, you earn a percentage of the pre-tax price, including renewals. You will find your StaarCast link on your My Statistics page. We will email you whenever your StaarCon referral code is used.

Step 6: Arrive and check in

Check in at the registration desk, just like attendees. Presenters and deck creators are welcome at the signing table near the registration desk.

Managers

Our managers lead the StaarCon team, and they carry more responsibility than anyone else on site. If you have been asked to serve as a manager, thank you!

Step 1: Your manager account

We will create your manager account on staarcon.com. You will receive a link to set your password. Please choose a strong password and keep it to yourself, because your account can change tickets, listings, and other people’s accounts.

Step 2: Your ticket

You will receive your own StaarCon 6 ticket by email. Follow the attendee steps above to prepare your badge, sign your Photo and Video Release, and set up StaarCast.

Step 3: Learn your tools

Before the conference, please sign in and become familiar with:

  • Ticket Check-In and Badge Check-In, which you share with our staff (see Staff below).
  • Volunteers, where you can see each volunteer’s areas and available days.
  • Photo releases, which you can send to any attendee who hasn’t signed yet.
  • Presenter, sponsor, and exhibitor listings, which you can update when plans change.

Our administrators issue volunteer tickets. If a volunteer needs a ticket, please let John, Damian, or Christiana know.

Step 4: At the event

Help our staff and volunteers solve problems as they come up, and keep an eye on the flow at the registration desk and in the presentation rooms. When something needs a technical fix, contact John Gaudet at jgaudet@staarcon.com.

Vendors and Exhibitors

The StaarCon 6 Marketplace is open to the public from 10 am to 6 pm on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Our readers, artisans, and merchants make it a wonderful place to shop, have readings, and find the perfect deck, book, crystal, or piece of jewelry. If you would like to be a vendor, all you need to do is apply!

Step 1: Apply

Complete the vendor application at staarcon.com/vendors. Tell us your company name, your contact information, how many tables you would like, and how you would like to receive your invoice. We will accept last-minute vendor applications for approval.

Step 2: Approval and invoice

We will review your application and be in touch. Once you are approved, we’ll email your invoice. Please pay it promptly to hold your space.

Step 3: Your exhibitor listing

Once your payment is complete, we’ll create your exhibitor listing for StaarCon 6 and a vendor account on staarcon.com using the email address from your application. To sign in for the first time, go to staarcon.com, choose to log in, and use the Lost your password? link to set your password. Then you can update your listing with your description, pictures, and links.

Step 4: Your ticket

A vendor table does not include a conference ticket. Exhibitors need a separate ticket to attend premium conference events. If you purchase one, follow the attendee steps above to prepare your badge and sign your Photo and Video Release. Your badge will be marked EXHIBITOR.

Step 5: Setting up

The Marketplace will be in the La Stone conference room at the DoubleTree. Check in at the registration desk when you arrive, and we will show you to your table.

Volunteers

StaarCon has always had a wonderful group of volunteers helping us make the magic happen, and we need you again this year! Volunteers receive free admission on the days they work.

Step 1: Reach out

To volunteer, call or text me at 561-655-1160. Mary Ellen Collins is our volunteer manager this year, with Frank Kwiatkowski as her assistant. Let us know which days you are available: Friday, October 2, Saturday, October 3, and Sunday, October 4.

Step 2: Your assignment

We will match you with an area. This year, our volunteers help at Reception by welcoming guests and assisting at the registration desk, and in the Livestream Room by monitoring presentations so both in-person and virtual attendees have a great experience.

Step 3: Your ticket

Once your days are confirmed, we will issue your volunteer ticket. It arrives by email, just like an attendee ticket, and it includes StaarCast. Follow the attendee steps above to prepare your badge, sign your Photo and Video Release, and set up StaarCast.

Step 4: Arrive and check in

Check in at the registration desk, and then find Mary Ellen or Frank for your instructions for the day. Thank you for sharing your time and talents!

Staff

Our registration staff is the first friendly faces our attendees see. Here is what you need to know.

Step 1: Your staff account

We will set up your staff account on staarcon.com. Your account is limited to checking in attendees and preparing badges, so you will only see the tools you need.

Step 2: Your ticket

You will receive your own StaarCon 6 ticket by email. Follow the attendee steps above for your own badge and Photo and Video Release.

Step 3: Learn your tools

Please sign in before the conference and practice with these tools:

  • Scanning tickets. While you are signed in, scan an attendee’s QR code with your phone. Their ticket page will show Check In and Badge Photo & Data buttons.
  • Ticket Check-In. If someone does not have their ticket with them, search by ticket code, name, or email. You can update their badge name, their handle, and their photo release, then choose Save & Check In.
  • Badge Check-In. Use your phone’s camera to take an attendee’s badge photo, crop it, and choose Save + Check In.
  • Badge Batches. Download badges for the printer in order. A new batch opens after the previous batch is marked as printed.
  • Resending ticket links. From the Badges screen, you can resend an attendee’s ticket link to their email.
  • Photo releases. If an attendee has not signed their release, you can send it to them at the desk.

Step 4: At the registration desk

  • A cancelled ticket cannot be checked in. If you see a cancelled ticket, please ask a manager for help.
  • Give a red wristband to anyone who has declined the Photo and Video Release.
  • Every check-in records the time and the staff member who performed it, so please use your own account.

Your Photos and Your Privacy

Your badge photo and badge details are used only to produce your badge and to help us check you in. They are deleted within 30 days after the conference ends. If you signed a Photo and Video Release and later change your mind, write to me at cgaudet@staarcon.com within 30 days, and we will honor your request.

Getting Help

If you have questions, please do not hesitate to reach out.

When we return, each to our own space, we are better because we have gathered. I cannot wait to see you at StaarCon 6!
