    Today we’re turning the spotlight on one of our Virtual Track presenters for StaarCon 6 and StaarCon 6 Virtual: Brenda Elizabeth, the reader, teacher, and deck creator behind Lady Lenormand.

    Brenda Elizabeth is a Tarot and Lenormand reader and teacher, a Lenormand deck creator, a Yoga Nidra meditation instructor, a certified Hypnotist, and a CPA. She teaches a wide variety of spiritual subjects, and she believes we are all blessed with intuitive ability. Her mission is simple: help others develop the gifts they already carry.

    Brenda’s path into divination is woven through her family. Her mother was a doctor and a medical intuitive who could diagnose patients within minutes, often without touching them, after other specialists had run round after round of tests with no answers. Watching that work shaped Brenda’s understanding of how knowledge and intuition can come together in service of healing.

    She had been studying, reading, and teaching Tarot for many years when she discovered Lenormand at the NWTS conference in 2019, and she has been obsessed ever since. During the pandemic she created her first Lenormand deck, and she has since published four more decks along with two divination charm sets. Her decks are designed to be simple and easy to read, so the images and words can speak directly to the reader’s subconscious.

    A StaarCon veteran with deep roots

    Mitchell has been studying all things metaphysical since 1999, training under professional intuitives and mediums from Cassadaga, Florida, and The Omega Institute in Rhinebeck, New York. Before dedicating himself full-time to intuitive work, he spent more than 33 years in the wellness field as a fitness manager, personal trainer, and group fitness instructor for one of the largest medical groups in the United States. That background in holistic well-being informs everything he does: he sees the body, mind, and spirit as equally important, and his sessions reflect that integrated approach.

    Music, Myth, Magick — and a whole lot of runes

    Today we’re shining the StaarCast Community spotlight on one of our favorite virtual presenters — and a dear friend of the conference — Aerik Arkadian. If you’ve been around StaarCon for a year or two, you’ve almost certainly seen him: he and Christiana co-lead our closing ceremony, and his runes workshops have become something of a tradition. This year at StaarCon 6, he’s back on the Live Track on Sunday morning with a brand-new session on the Elder Futhark.

    So who is Aerik? Honestly, the short answer is: a lot of things. He’s a Third Degree Gardnerian High Priest, an aborisha, a coven leader, a Reiki Master, and an audio engineer. He reads runes and tarot, and he plays guitar, cello, and piano — and sings. He and his wife Selene run a coven together, along with an active prison ministry.

    Outside of StaarCon, Aerik hosts the podcast and YouTube show Music, Myth and Magick, where he sits down with guests like Christopher Penczak, Deborah Lipp, and Jack Chanek to trace the lines between music, spirituality, and the occult. Expect to dig into basic meanings and translations, the cultural weight behind the rune poems, and how divinatory interpretations grew naturally out of those historical contexts. Fair warning: it’s a hands-on session. You’ll be working in small groups to develop your own modernized meanings for each of the runes, with the focus on the intuitive process rather than rote memorization. By the end, you’ll walk away with a richer set of insights — and a deeper sense of how the runes actually speak.

    And of course, he and Christiana will close out the conference together in our closing ceremony — a moment we always look forward to.

  • StaarCon 6 Virtual Programming

    StaarCon 6 Virtual will begin on the first day the staarcast.com website is open to members and will run for a full year. After opening day, there will be a series of virtual-only workshops, meetings, and panels. All in-person ticket holders will have access to the virtual conference. When the in-person conference begins, StaarCast members can watch the live track presentations streamed from the Lular conference room.

    The classroom and the mindful room will host sessions that do not fit the streaming model, but virtual conference attendees won’t be left out. Each classroom and mindful room presenter will provide alternative virtual content. Some will participate in an interview explaining the subject they will present. Others will prepare prerecorded presentations for online viewing.

    StaarCon 6 Virtual presenters will schedule their content during the entire year-long virtual conference. Look for meetings, workshops, and videos prepared and presented by StaarCon member speakers.

    From Words to Runic Wisdom: Building Divinatory Meaning from the Ground Up Aerik Arkadian · 10:15 AM EDT This hands-on workshop traces the Elder Futhark runes from written symbols to divinatory tools. Aerik Arkadian guides participants through the cultural and linguistic roots of the rune poems, then invites small-group collaboration to develop modernized, intuitive meanings for each rune. The emphasis is on understanding how meaning is formed — not just memorizing what it is.

    Introduction to Lenormand Michelle Barrie · 2:00 PM EDT The Petit Lenormand is a 36-card European fortune-telling deck that’s been growing in popularity across the United States.   • The Virtual StaarCon 6 Experience on StaarCast

    The StaarCast website is almost ready for visitors. We are fine-tuning the user experience to provide a more integrated experience for both in-person attendees and virtual attendees.

    The Accelevents platform lacked several features that you will see at StaarCon 6. First, we have greater control over the views we present to live attendees and the virtual world. We aren’t forced into a single scene for in-house and livestreamed content. Remote viewers will see the presentation in a format optimized for remote viewing. Those attending in-person will be able to speak and interact with remote viewers. Presenters will be provided with a confidence monitor to help them keep up with the virtual audience in real time.

    Remember, each in-person full conference ticket holder will receive a complimentary year-long membership to StaarCast.com. Those members of StaarCast in good standing during October will have access to the free conference events. Annual and monthly StaarCast members will have access to all the StaarCon 6 livestreamed events. Free StaarCast members can purchase access to each session individually on a pay-per-view basis.

    In-person ticket holders will have access to the recorded sessions on the StaarCast website for each day they attend the live conference, provided they remain StaarCast members. The year-long access time limit has been eliminated. StaarCast events are continuously scheduled for the StaarCon community.

    We hope these changes will enable more people to participate in the StaarCon and StaarCast experience.
